1 Day of Heaven 4 days Of Hell
1 Day of Heaven
We finally decided to give Kho Tao the opportunity to show what it is famous for, it's snorkeling. We were originally told to meet at a location at 9am but a night of heavy partying meant we were greeted by a nice Thai man at our hostel trying to wake us up. We stumbled across our room and put something decent on. A manic ride to the boat and a quick trip out to sea and we were ready to go. I eyes were sagging and our heads were drooping - we were hungover. However, we weren't to be beaten. The sudden shock of the cold water as we jumped in brought us back to life and opened our eyes to one of the best experiences of the trip. All four of us went in separate directions only to bump into each other later on to show off the coolest fish they could find. We also started making funny noises with our snorkels and pretend we were sharks but the less spoken about that he better. We went around various locations throughout the day and came back suitably shattered.
4 days of hell
And so began four days of hell. We were set to leave Kho Tao the day after to sample to beaches of Phi Phi but I was struck down with food poisoning I was told not to eat he beef but being stubborn I went ahead. As I write today I am almost over the worst and we are about to head back to Bangkok and then head straight to Vietnam. Being bed ridden for the Thai new year, various parties and other events was painstaking and I have had to put an extra notch or two on my belt. As soon as I can though, I will be eating like a champ and putting on that weight I lost.
For some strange reason the Thai locals love us and have had a field day. Probably because we provide them with a funny story each day.
Sorry for the lack of pictures - the internet cafe is not my best friend right now. Hope all is good in the UK and America!

You should be careful! Sounds good otherwise.
